The Smart Set (TSS)

The Smart Set (TSS) was a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that worked to increase interest, literacy, and involvement in the fields of science, design, and culture. The idea of TSS was inspired by the early 20th century literary magazine The Smart Set. TSS was founded in 2006 by social entrepreneur Sean Schmidt, Co-founder of the Sustainable Style Foundation. In 2010, the leaders of TSS decided to rebrand and created a new website and blog called Future-ish with the same mission and many of the same projects and initiatives.
